    Ray,

Go find you and I a good used Q boat! I have 6S packs already! I'll look for a 'deal' too. What hull do you prefer? Hugh's rips. Don't remember what it is.
(shhhh, I'm an Aeromarine dealer if that counts for anything. Don't tell anybody else)

My Q boat is an Aeromarine Team Believer hull @ 36", Mike's is an Aeromarine Sprint Cat same lenght both boats share the same bottom. Mike's has sleeker cowl but mine is easier to install batts. Both are powered with NEU 1527 1Y 1250KV. My prop is detongued X447/3, Mike's is X450/3. Both are about same speed.

I think the only real limitation for this class is that it has to be 6s. Other than that I think the motor is open. You should bring your sprint cat and see how it runs.

The BEST thing about those Q cats is they ALWAYS finish. They sure look faster than 54 mph as well.

Hugh you were right, I just looked at the Orlando club's website, and they did limit the electric classes to 8 boats. They must only want to have one heat per class per round for the electrics since they have so many gas boats.

I won't be able to attend thats why I didn't sign up. I will have to attend classes that week for work, and I won't be back until that saturday. I was hoping to go but right now work has to take priority. Besides, my 1 boat would not have made a difference.
