yea 9 or 12 - 15" or 18" patio blocks would do it. might need 4 stairs, as it is at least 4' to the water, and we don't want the steps to be more than 1' tall risers. It would be nice to have at least a 4' or 6' wide stairs, wide enough for 2 people to be on, not just a 36" wide set for one person. I'll dig it out, and should only take an hour.
It also would be nice to have the 4"X4" X 10 wood rails they had underwater to pull the recovery boat onto . makes it a lot easier to get out of the boat.

Anybody in our group need some UL-1 parts like the hatch cover or canopy? I'm going to finish the decommission on mine later today and there are still some good parts. (keeping motor, esc, servo etc but the hull will be finding it's way to the trash though)

Ive got shovels as well I can bring.

Incase some of you hadnt seen it yet, the new STD has hit the water. Ive got some water intrusion issues that are pretty major that I cannot figure out, but once I do, its gunna be a bad a$$ boat. This was its maiden. Ive made some cog adjustments and really have it dialed now, just cant keep water out.

Ron there were actually 7 tunnels. After the first round everyone with a spec tunnel agreed to run all the boats in one heat instead of splitting them into to 2 heats each round.

Scott nice job on the boat dude, looks and runs great. Did you try silicone tubing or heat shrink trick on the flex shaft/stuff tube? If nothing else tape it up and dunk it in the tub. it
should bubble up where it is leaking.

Put it in the tub taped up and pushed it under, didnt see anything. Turned it over and theres a small lines of super tiny bubbles coming out in front of one of the thru hull pick ups. I cant inagine how small it is letting in that much water. It certainly has to be only when its at speed, because like I said, It sat a while in the tube earlier and showed no signs of water intrusion. I hope that was it, if not, its another small leak fixed....

Ray are you coming on the 11th?

In the video was my vision, bill britton's lynx, and brians TS2.

Here is what was left of my vision after Jay and I got together at the start of the final heat..tunnel 001.jpgtunnel 003.jpg

We were side by side at the start, I had about 1/2 of a boat length on him when my right sponson lifted off the water, the boat turned right, and the sponson on his boat went through the bottom of my boat.
