I thought it would be good to have another set in the water as a landing.

It would be nice to have at least a 4' or 6' wide stairs, wide enough for 2 people to be on, not just a 36" wide set for one person. I'll dig it out, and should only take an hour.
It also would be nice to have the 4"x4" x 10 wood rails they had underwater to pull the recovery boat onto . Makes it a lot easier to get out of the boat.

Did you pressure check your water lines to be sure they and/or the water jackets are not leaking? If a dunk test doesn't produce much of proof of a leak, then it's something happened when running.

It certainly has to be only when its at speed, because like I said, It sat a while in the tube earlier and showed no signs of water intrusion. I hope that was it, if not, its another small leak fixed....

No. I haven't touched the crackerbox. How about posting a bit of a build on your CB here or in the Build section?

Yup, sure did. Ran a garden hose thru each side for 3 min each. Found one small jacket leak but it only produced maybe a teaspoon of water. I fixed it and hoped that was it and two laps put about 2 cups of water in the hull. But I found something else last night that only showed up in pressure durinmg the dunk test. I've fixed it but I'm not getting my hopes up. As small as it was , I can't imagine it being the issue. I hope I'm wrong

Good luck. Finding the source of the water intrusion can be a beatch sometimes. I used to get gobs of water in my p-mono. I finally, out of desperation, coated everything inside the transom, bolts, nuts, etc. etc. with a very deep layer of GOOP. That seems to have stopped it!

Wow got kinda busy in here after I got to work and had to stop surfing. Not sure of where it was coming from but mine managed to do the left hand bob & weave on the back straight in all 3 heats. Only one of them left it upside down though.

Those buzzers look interesting Brian but there's no "buy now" button and would actually need 4 of them to cover all the packs in the boat. The batteries on the left hand side had almost nothing pulled out of them. (which probably created the problem on the right hand side) To make it worse I don't know why. They were all connected when I brought it in, I couldn't find any loose connections in my harness and if I had hooked them up wrong it would have probably rewarded me with a big puff of magic smoke there on the table.

Man thats weird about it pulling the voltage down on one side..?
On the buzzers here is the cheapest ones I could find...

$3.99 each with free shipping. not to bad.
With that much power I would consider some kind of power block that your ESC and batteries plug into.

I just wanted to let everyone know that there are 2 more WCRA races this year. One is on Oct 2nd and the other is Nov 6th. I am going to talk with Bill Britton to see what classes we can get in. Since no one really runs the spec riggers I would say to scrap that in favor of a class that will bring more interest.

I have some work to do to get my new spec tunnel ready, and hopefully I can have the big tunnel done by then too. we shall see.

I already have plans for 10/2. That's the same day as the "Wattfest" fly in that I'm already signed up for. Might be able to make the Nov run though.
