Advance Auto has a industrial strength gum-cutter in spray can that works great, then follow with one of those citrus cleaners-

I'm looking for something to remove the stink of an ESC that went off in a boat. Anybody know what works well? My P boat didn't even make it in the water today. Plugged in the packs, blipped the throttle a few times, taped it up and when I picked it up something said "bang" and smoke came rolling out.
It wasn't the caps they were all still intact although they were no longer attached to the board. The main body came out in pieces though.

Got the email but was feeling so crappy that I didn't answer it at the time.
The way it's looking I may only be there for day one and then again on Sunday for the classes I'm signed up in. Not too sure if I want to spend a whole week over there. spectating.

Oh the denatured alcohol worked great, too. I didn't have any but went and bought some. It cleaned it right up. I may have to break down and pull the mean machine out of the shed and clean it now too.

PS it was the Turnigy 180 in my DF33 that let looose. It was the only piece of electronics in it that didn't have to be replaced after it sunk. Guess it needed it too.
