Is Grant completely out of model boating? Haven't seen him in a long time!

Hes still playing now and again. The economy has slowed him a bit and a change in the company he works for keeps him busy 60+ hrs a week. He wants to get back out to Ackerman w/ us but it wont be for a while.

Haha. Two motors and two batteries on that little 11 footer would probably sink it unless we could find a 60 lbs driver!

Two of us went out in the boat last weekend to re-secure a turn bouy. It did very well. And that motor the Kong brought is the cats meow. It moves out!

Tu that was the other guys name from last Sunday. I was hoping Chris would youtube the video he shot last Sunday at Ackerman. Been sort of a boring weekend for me. Didn't charge any batts because the weather was supposed to be bad and it was great instead. Wound up building a little foamy jet just to have sometihng to do.

Do you know Grant?? We miss him showing up. He was one of the originals. Rescued one of my p boats that sank in my lake. Unfortunately, I repaid him by spearing his new DF....Havent seen him since. I know he moved to Tampa, but no real contact since then. he has some awesome boats.

Jim it was behind Publix at Burnt Store Rd. and Pine Island Rd. in Cape Coral. Dave, Rich and I ran in the vid. we are starting to draw some attention as several people stopped by to see us run.

Yeah Im good friends with him. He "had" a lot of nice boats. Jmscard owns most of them now. He has a few of his boats here that Ive been slowly re-doing for him. But most hes sold or is selling. Ill bring you more up to date at the next meet.

Must be nice to have a place to run close to home! I live in Land O Lakes. Lakes everywhere and none we can run on without big boats, etc. in the way...which is against NAMBA rules anyway.

I was down at Ackerman yesterday with a few tunnel guys. We couldn't have had better weather. It was alot of fun running my FE boat with the nitros

This is a very close scale drawing of a 1/6th mile course on your pond. Many would consider it to be about perfect for an RC boat race course.
