No problem. Yeah id think you will get a lot more speed then 42mph. Im running 1600KV in the HPR and on 6S Im approaching 80. My HOTR twin (same as a River cat hull) ran 10Xls (right about 1660 I think) on 6S and it took a bit but I broke 70 on Octura 442s.
What props are you runningComment

442's. One of the guys in the club has some 447's he wants me to try out too. Next time out I'm going to up the ante a bit. It's funny, the more I run it the less paranoid I am about flipping or getting stranded out in the pond! Of course it's a different story at the lake by my house!
Here's a few stills

Hmm, one thing Im not up on is outrunners. Not enough experience with them. But man they sound awesome. I built a twin BJ26 for my neighbor and used the Castle 1800KV outrunners. they were 40 or 42 wide by I forget how long. Its only run 4S so far but it ran very well.
Im surprised that your only at 42mph, or was that just a not really gettn on it reading? I woulda thought at least 55 or 60. But again, Im far from knowledgeable on outrunners. But did I mention they sound awesome!!!!! Yeah if your temps are good and your amp draw is good, prop it up!
Have you done any work to your 442s? Cupping and detongue got me another 5 or 6 mph if I remember correctly. Its on here somewhere.
Oh and yeah, Ive run my HPR, I dunno, probably 10 or 12 times, my knees still knock when I run that boat.Comment

One thing I can say about the outrunners is they are torque monsters. The whole boat rocks when I jam on it. As far as speed goes, Ive been using the contour GPS camera for speed readings and I have'nt really held the hammer down. To top it off, I have been playing with my transmitter alot and I think I have limited myself to WOT. I'm going to use another default setting and try it without any throttle adjustments and see what happens. I also picked up a Garmin legend but I need to find a secure way of mounting it outside the hull. I put it inside but because of the CF hull,it lost sat signal and showed I was going .5mphHopefully we get a break from the wind and rain this weekend. I'm anxious now that I've finally had some success!
