Great info tiqueman. I'm going to try it next time out. I see the same issue's with mine as in the vids. That answers alot of my questions. I thought maybe I had done something wrong in the setup's. Alot of the other vids I was watching, the boats were more stable, but it just dawned on me that most were single prop. The weight has to be it.Comment

Yup, thats all it is. Like I said, Im sure you did nothing wrong. And a 4/40 rod should be just fine. If it is flexing, its not flexing that much to make it do that.. and its at low speeds.
When I first ran the HPR I about put it in the bank because of it.. and like you I thought "What the heck did I do?" I cant tell you what all went thru my mind... drive dogs spinning then catching then spinning again.. rudder steering came loose. After several minutes of inspection and finding all was tight, I figured it had to be the hull. I also notice it does it less when I run 4S rather than 6. Iv learned now just let it do what it wants and it straightens itself out. If you try to correct it, it usually gets worse.
Got any pics of the boat or vids not on board?Comment

Well at first I was. 2 6s packs individual to each motor. All over the place and hairy! Then I swapped to 2 3s packs individual. It was more stable running about 20-25 mph but of course I wasnt happy. My sons spartan was kicking its a**. Then I swapped motors from Turnigy 1400's to FC1180's and it ran nice a smooth but still no speed. Almost 15 minutes of run time. No flipping, no jumping up out of the water. Still getting creamed by the spartan. Then I made a series cable and ran the 2 3s packs together and wow. Now with the 1400's she cruises and then in my last vid I swapped to FC1580's and Holy sh*t! Thats what I was looking for. I want to try two 4s packs to see what she'll do but I broke a wire drive and had to call it a day. I've got some stills and two vids off in the distance but not close up. I need a cameraman!

I think its just torque and unstable because its not on a full plane. Kinda like water skiing if youve ever done that. When your gettin up your skis want to go all over the place, but once your up and going theyre fine.
