You can if you order from the Asian store. I did.

Well, she hit 50.2 MPH tonight on 4S! She was scooting right along! Perfect water for some speed runs tonight.

First attempt on 5S. Wrecked the hell out of it... Luckily no damage! Lesson learned. Smooth water only and keep it further out!

She is making some power now though!

Got in some 5s runs. The water was like glass! Only 56.4 mph but I am pretty sure I have ruined this ABC 1715 trying to get it to balance out. Temps were ice cold in the 60s. Next up is an 1815. Got some cool pics on the smooth water though!

Made a few passes with the new ABC 1815 on 5S this morning. Wow, she's scooting good now! Temps weren't even 90*. New problem though: Chine walk... I tried moving the COG and trim tabs down but that didn't help much. Just did an OSE search on chine walk and learned a few things to try. Also, I just did a quickie S&B job on this prop last night so I'm sure that's some of the problem. Back to work!

Try raising the stinger to plant the stern further down in the water. One half turn on the screw gives about 1mm change at the prop.

Thanks for the advice zooma! I raised the stinger a full turn in total(it's level now) and that took care of the nasty chine walk. What would I do without you guys? Hit 62.3 MPH and while it's definitely "loose" it's staying on the water really well. Temps were up today but I was beating on her pretty good in the "big water". Motor and batteries were around 90* and the ESC was 140*. Heating up...

Installed this new motor mount from Kintec and MBP collet from OSE. Smooth and sexy!

Glad the adjustment worked well. I am doing that incrementally as I experiment with different props on a new 6 cell Ariane 2, a 36.5 inch version of the Pursuit.

Hey, what are the specs on that new motor?

It's a TP 4060 that I bought from the swap shop. I was told it's 1620 kv but I'm not so sure that's right.

I like that motor mount. How are you supporting the rear of the motor?

Yeah, this mount is sweet. I did some trimming on it and it fits really nice in there now. The back is supported by a standard 40mm ring. It's a VERY tight fit with the water jacket and stock rails.

Alright, cold weather is gone and it's time to get back at it! I haven't done much to it other than shortening the wires. That sure didn't hurt anything. Made some good looking passes this morning and everything came in pretty cool. The nose was up and she was going straight! Still on 5s. I'm going to polish the flex, blueprint the bottom and work on this prop a little more this week and see if there is a little more left in it. Love this stuff!

Working on it! Got the bottom straightened and gave everything a 600 grit finish. I'm going to try it out with no other changes.
