    I'm iwth Jim...been using them forever. I have also used them for antenna mounts to slide my tube in. I usually now take a nylon bolt and lathe the hole in the center then bolt thru the hull then run tube thru it.

    I do use shoe-goo on both side to lock it in and seal it.

      Great idea...I am now using them for the exhaust cooling fitting on several boats. Antenna idea is also a good one, much easier and less weight that the current brass fittings I am using. Thanks.

        How do I remove the pin out of my rivet please?
        I was trying but it's sitting inside so tite I will damage it if more force applyed...

          Hello .. take a long rivet and cut the tip with a saw .. not just cut the tip of the pin .. cut a part of the body of the rivet is also

          ... then it is easy to get the pin with a pliers

          pay attention in the first photo of this page where I have 2 rivets in my hand

              I just hold the flanged side and tap the pin through with a small hammer
