That motor can spin an x452 if you wanted too, it just that the boat will be uncontrollable with that large of diameter...............you need pitch and a bit of diameter.NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? i think on this boat i would need an outrigger with a 52mm prop LOL good know the Motor can swing it. don’t we all agree that I still have something else wrong here? My math says the 220 should be pushing 48MPH only figuring 80% motor efficiency and 25% slip.
Do you think it would be okay if i test with 2 6S 5000 25C in parallel??Comment

Hey,
I am not sure what % this is at,
But it is a PB 36"shockwave with a 4074 2200kv t120a esc with 3 more caps and a x646/3 prop on 4s2p gps at 46mph best so far.
The hull is stock and just missing gas motor, So it is a little on the heavy side.
Yours should air out like this and run faster when trimmed out.

Messing with cog and strut might gain you a mph or two, but it's not gonna get you where you want to be speed wise. Those adjustments can be made to get boat handle well, but your speed issue is something else. Is your throttle set to reverse on your controller? Is it properly calibrated?Comment

The problem is that he is running less rpms than the Castle setup.........the older setup is 1600kv and the "new" Castle motor is an off the wall 1800kv on 6s! My buddy gets right at 50 with the new motor with an s215, but thats 39,500 rpms, where traeside is only getting 33,000 or so. He needs more prop to make up for it.............x645, x447, m447 etc..............NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS??
