still torn, ready to order the motor today, should i get the 4092 1730, the 4083 1600 or 1800?????? i am got the SW180 already.

For 6s I would go with the 1600

Do you think the 1730 will blow the ESC? it says 140A max thanks for the advice

I can't say, but 1730 is a bit much for 6s.

You can't just read motor specs and go by it. There are too many factors on a boat, than to just go by the specs

as in 38,000 RPM to much?

For sport boating you want to be more in the 35000 max range. It depends what prop you use also.

very true that is why i was reading all the posts i could find and i thought Steve and suggested a 4092 and then i read where it sounded like he said will to will either go or Blow.

i have a 215 and a 220 now it looks like i need a X442 and mabe on size for the 1600?

okay Steve had me get the 4092 1430. i have the prather 220. should i order a X442 and 445?
