Your MG that started off as a hull

Ed doing cf in the hull is good but the main reinforcement needed that i no of is in the sponson tips, seems thats where all the problems happen and probly down the seem on the actaul hole sponsons to the battery trays, now i have not done any of this in my hull cuz my boats just average speed but ill probly do some fiberglass cloth reinforcement where i staighted in mine, your going faster then mine so ill let the other guys answer that question..
The cover is not suppose to rase the temps cuz your suppose to cut out the vents or loovers you see, but im sure it would have to still rase them alittle but i do no its excilent for keeping out all the debry that flys up into the chassie, i no mine is like a magnet for all that crap.. i have even seen guys cut out the shape for the esc fan to suck air threw it...but i understand your concern, if your not intrested im going to put it up for sale.. no biggy bud..

as for the slash body, go ahead and try to sell it, if no one wants it i'll buy it. i'm still trying to figure out some binding issues that i am having now on the slash.

Just a few comments after seeing your list above............

Why are you getting 2x3s batteries? The 1515's 2200kv is too high for a 6s setup. I understand getting 2x2s for a 4s battery setup. You might also consider getting 2x4s - wired in parallel you will still get 4s but you double the mah for longer run times.

Stuffing tube? The "hull & canopy only" hull you got already has a stuffing tube installed. You planning on doing surgery to remove the stock stuffing tube? If so, you really have to remove the wooden tray and let one of the guys here teach you how to bend a copper stuffing tube.
If you do change it, then you dont have to think about the tube adaptors for the strut - just make sure that your new stuffing tube will fit the new strut you are getting.

Antennae - no need to do a tube. You're 2.4ghz with that FlySky so having the rx antenna wire inside the hull is enough.

no i'm not getting 2x 3S batteries... i already have them for my slash. i will not be using them for the boat. i was told not to. i just copy pasted a previous post

that's true about the stuffing tube, i just got my terms mixed up. i will be using the EXISTING stuffing tube.

noted about the rx, no antenna needed, good! what should i use to plug the hole?

Ed,blueprinting is on the exterior of the hull and my suggested reinforcement would be on the inside along the seam above the battery trays to as far up as you can get to.And as Darrin has suggested,get some epoxy to back up the seam in the center section.
If you want when you are ready I can try to get the cam in my hull and take pics as I just CF'd the problem areas.Jason's hull I made look good as well as reinforce.

You could get the motor mount at FC instead and $9 cheaper,I don't think you need a liner or separate prop shaft.Other than that I think all your linked items are good to go.Water tube should be 1/8th inside Dia. and you should grab 3ft of it.
Also,all the parts to be ordered will have all the neccesary screws.

I can add one thing.A package of Axial velcro straps http://www.axialracing.com/products?...=velcro+straps
I find these great for holding batteries in/on the trays.

Phil's have clevises great planes, dubro and sullivan brands are good. the propshaft holds your drive dog, prop and prop nut. unless you're going to use a square end flex cable, you don't need one. I'm not sure if the guys are using the flex cable with soldered propshaft and if the .187 will fit into the stock MG29 stuffing tube without the silicon liner. I'm sure the guys will chime in to verify this.

i'm de-anodizing some parts for the slash w/ greased lightning you recommended, lets see if it does a good job. apparently drano max gel does an even better job.

quick question, how do i attach the motor mount to the bottom of the hull. surely you can't screw it in. there's no wood at the back where the motor mount sits

Find a removable plug that would fit the antennae.
You'll find out later that if for any reason water gets in the hull - you'll find it hard wiggling the boat upside down just to get all the water out via the canopy opening. The antenna mount could be your drain.

here's how I do it. I first set the mount in the right angle and placement and apply small amount of ca glue just to hold it in place. then I bring it to mardon's place and have his worker apply epoxy resin mixed with fiberglass to permanently keep it in place. hehehe! in short, use ca first and apply fiberglass and resin. you may also use cf and cf resin.
