Wow... Sorry to see the hull damaged on her maiden voyage. At least you got her back and it can be repaired. I'm sure it will look better than new when Mardon puts his magic fiberglassing skills to work!

Thanks for the voice of support Jason - yeah, we've started work on Stephen's hull and will try our best to keep the sched so he could run his gasser this Sunday.

So you guys saw my beautiful gasser eh? Well, too bad it happened on her maiden voyage. Well, nobody want something like this to happen. It goes with the territory and it's just part of the hobby! Jason is right, at least we got her back to be repaired. I'm still lucky because several years ago, a fellow boater's almost new Laser 45 sunk and was never recovered. Maybe the pond gods liked the boat and decided to keep it! If a turtle really caused that damage to my laser, I hope that she's okay. That boat can be fixed and I'm more concerned about the Ninja Turtle. hehehe! I know Master Oca and Mardon will be able to fix my gasser!

Hey Shawn - how's the performance of that cut rudder?
Im afraid that my similar rudder would have to go to my incoming gas hull so need to search for another one for the 37" Cat. However, since I would most likely mount it on the secondary transom, I might consider 2 options from HK. The one for the Vanquish hull might work.

Im currently looking over some motors but still hesitating on getting a 56. Dunno if the T180 could handle those. Will probably go 240a if I upgrade to a 56.

I would put a 1717 in it(but then I have three now).Thea 56's are pretty big heavy. The cut down rudder is great still lots of turning ability.Still got to open up the cooling lines.

Looks like my Proboat Shockwave option is out.The last bare hull has been sold with no more to come.So it's all up to you Mardon to build a nice scale hull for me to go wave crashing with.T-600 powered.

Yeah, I kept hearing about weight issue on the 56 - is it really that much? However, the 56 might be one of those alternatives to running FE using a gas boat hull.....maybe?
Its been crazy busy lately as we had pending orders to get out, but this Monday we would be getting back to boats - so either the Cat 37" or the 40" Cig will get some due work done to it. 3 offshore riders good enough for ya?

Runs Great but needs just a little bit of trimming and the pipe is leaking water. Nothing that Master Oca can't fix! Can't wait to run her again after the holidays!
