I would run 2 4s batts in parr. One in each sponson. This will increase runtime but more inportantly it will keep the weight low in the hull. Having alot of weight up high is bad!!!!Miss Geico CC1515 2200kv T180 2S2S- Twin Genesis with 2 2700kv 2 T180's 4S2P- Stiletto with 2030kv T120 4S1P-DF33 4082 1600kv T180 6S2P- and lots of gassers!Comment

Hey Hydro, Your rudders are in front of the props in both boats? How? I have no experience with that setup, I have read on The Dock that it is not a great place for the rudder.Miss Geico CC1515 2200kv T180 2S2S- Twin Genesis with 2 2700kv 2 T180's 4S2P- Stiletto with 2030kv T120 4S1P-DF33 4082 1600kv T180 6S2P- and lots of gassers!Comment

Sweet looking tunnel Mac! I agree with Lenny, put something on the tips to add some more color.
There you go Mac! Questions on the 37" cat were answered. So, maybe we'll see a finished new cat pretty soon! Yeeeey!
BTW, Don't worry about that sleep thing! You're doing great without it!Seriously! get some or I'll go there and inject you with sleep drug or something!

You will need 2p for the 1515.If you wanna go they will but you've got to supply amps.1717 is the same, well actually the 1717 is an amp hog.Comment

I like my boats to look "mean" but when I was referencing the "mad croc" F1 pics - the windshield looked like an eye of a croc - which was what they probably was gunning for. Looked mean enough for me - and making the canopy looked sleeker.
If you look at the MG Turbine canopy and reference it to the stock PB MG canopy - you would see that I made the windshield opening a bit smaller on the turbine making it meaner looking.Comment

A bit delayed on the 37" Cat Im afraid - my worker is still busy on pending orders thus it might take awhile before I could get the boat back for the canopy teardrop details. My cardboard mockup hasnt been bondoed yet, so another waiting game.
Im just taking this time to prepare what is needed to run the 37" Cat when it finally gets done, to make the process a bit faster.......and hopefully smoother.
I suggest you do the same! hahahaha!Comment

Yeah'I'll probably do a silver then smoke on the turbine canopy.I better get on these things as it won't be long and Jason's MG will be here.I still got to paint my little mono before that too.
Hey do you have any pics of the front of the tunnel of the 37"MGComment

Here ya go, let me know if you need more pics.Comment

So it's gonna pack air much like the original? It looks like it's coming along nicely. Are those fresh pics?
I could put chrome film and clear windshield in it but I wouldn't wanna cut it out because then I'd be tempted to backlight it. I'm dying to do a lit up boat.Comment

Yes, just took them when I saw your post. The original MG has a bigger angle below the bow, so I lowered it somewhat on the 37". Cats nowadays have basically a flat top in the bow, thus a huge angle below grabbing wind and the possibility of a blow over. I lessened than angle when I made the 37" Cat with a slope that is much further back so the angle is less steep.Comment

Oooooh! I'm getting ready alright! You'll see! hehehe!
Shawn, my ekos has a clear windshield but I'm thinking of replacing it with a thicker clear lexan or flexiglass to beef it up a bit during crashes. LED to lit up a boat is a good idea. I have a bunch of small LED's that we use on motorcycles but they are only rated @ 12V.My Aquacraft SV27's old Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoTm4Btz41Q
