So the Genesis and the Fightercat Daytona is actually one and the same hull?

Great work you did on the CF canopy!

Tagasagwan and I talked earlier over the phone and we brainstormed some ideas. As you know, he really wants a slightly bigger cat, now Jerry is wanting a turbine canopy for his Genesis and I'm itching for another project build - so basically we're just pooling those ideas in how to consolidate those in one single project.

You guys want or need anything else?

Yes, good point as usual Jerry. I still consider myself a newbie - both to the hobby as well as in this forum, so im just waiting for you guys to get your own canopies so that when I post in the buy&sell section atleast there would be feedback from you guys who already received theirs :)

I can do Jerry's canopy anytime - but what Im envisioning is something much bigger than a canopy, so that many of us will benefit :) Plus, it will get Tagasagwan off my back with his unending request of having a bigger cat hull! hahahahaha!

I have Daytona canopy that is raw, But has three holes in it for hold down nuts,
How much would it be for one of your canopy if I gave you mine to work with ?
And yes that would be cool to have a wider Daytona some day.
                          ? ONLY IF THEY WORK

Yes,I think the Daytonas are way too narrow for corners.I don't know if flatened ride pads would help as well.I'll find out when my Shocker hits the water.Soon.

Thank you for your kind consideration, Lenny - in cases such as this, I am obligated to give you a FREE canopy. But you have to take care of shipping both ways.

However, tagasagwan and I are brainstorming the idea of possibly purchasing the Genesis thru HK. We could mod the hull and do the turbine canopy in one go. Atleast, if we ever made a mistake, it wont hassle any of you guys :)
But then again, busted up genesis/daytona hulls would be welcome as well - just as long as they will come out cheaper than buying a bnew hull from HK.
Yes, the plan is to make it a bit wider and maybe a hair higher to accept the ever increasing sizes of BL motors offered lately. Naturally, everyone's input to making this boat - would be welcomed and appreciated!

Thanks, Do you really think you need the thrust bearings for your boat ?
How did you make out with the esc settings, Was it the 8khz. ?
