I am running my MG with dual 4s batts using parallel connection and really have no complaints in the way it runs, but recently I was curious of how it will run if the weight was a bit lighter. I've always felt that my 4s 5000mah Nano-techs were a bit heavy, so when I saw Leader hobby's sale on Win-max Nano-Platinum 2s 5200mah, I grabbed the opportunity in ordering 4 pieces. Their low price was enough for me to gamble on their quality.

Im charging early this week to test these batts on Sunday - so im crossing my fingers that atleast the run would be decent. Since I'll be using 2 x 2s this week, I also made a "series" connection with 6mm bullet connectors.

Just bear in mind that long leads give higher cap temps.By taking 1.5 inches of each side of ESC wire I had almost 2 volts less ripple.Thats what the caps deal with,is voltage ripple.JMO

Hey Macdon, When I run 2 2S lipos I dont use any jumpers or connectors!!! I run them in series just like you.

On my SM29, I'm using 2x2S lipos in hardcase, the wires are plug-in type. What I did was, I soldered 4mm male bullets to my esc cables ( + & - wires) I also made a cable with 4mm male bullets on both ends. The connection is like this, The POSITIVE wire of my esc goes to the POSITIVE lead of Lipopack #1, Then the NEGATIVE lead of lipo#1 connects to the POSITIVE lead of Lipo#2 via the series cable then finally the NEGATIVE lead of lipo#2 connects to the NEGATIVE wire of the esc. This way, I only used a total of 4 male bullet connectors and a short cable. Lower current loss and lower temps on the connectors and caps. Not so clear right? I'll try and post pics later. Hehehe!

Sorry Mardon, Stephen, Shawn, Jerry, and Jaso. I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but I've been real busy lately. Trying to get a home business going takes a lot of time. Glad to see all of you seem to have had a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks Stephen for posting those last 2 videos.
