Well kiddies, here's another update on the 40" cig boat.
Here you can see how big the opening will be - that 50mm T600 is engulfed!

That's a huge Biatch you got there Mac! It dwarfs even the T-600! Hahaha!

Eric?Is that Ecovert? I've been wondering.

I went out with new Propshop props today. Here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pG7zB...iDSIKv3E8nM_g=
Then flipped it.And again...Then I blew the plastic sheer bolt for the rudder at the other end of the lake. Not knowing I then went full throttle back.No steering...Shore..airplane. Now I have Clearcoat to fix.And my pride.

Hey Mac! My cousin has the same boat as shown on the pic. it's a Prather Fun Cruiser! He wants to have a canopy to make it look like a yacht similar to your Princess.

I certainly appreciate the advancement with electrics, but they do get pretty expensive too.
Yesterday in the pond, I got giggles from my fellow boaters when they saw me come in with my F1 Tunnel - it was obviously too choppy for that kind of hull. Alas, I had a problem with my REK outboard drive, so it was grounded. My ferrari speedmaster boat had to consume the 4 x 4s batts I brought along (I hate storage charging) and managed to capsize about a dozen times due to chop - they teased me that I should pay double for the retrieving fee as 50% of them rowing out was due to my capsized (again!) deep vee! hahahaha!
Well, thats how choppy the waters are down here this season - so our fellow boaters only bring in their gasser boats and just leave their electrics at home. but then again, you also get to see some gassers capsize due to chop.
I was relieved after consuming my 4 batts so I could run my gas boat, but a dirty carb kept it grounded. It was disassembled and cleaned on site, but by the time it got finished we were all getting ready to go home.

I could only hope that my planned bigger electric projects would be adequate enough, but dont wanna spend so much as bigger motors entails stronger esc and batts which could be quite pricey. I am strongly considering investing at gas motors lately as the cost isnt that much. Hmmm.......we'll see.

Clearcoat isnt that bad - it could be a lot worse so still consider yourself lucky. Oh and pride ........... they quickly fly out the door in this hobby! hahahaha!
Jeesh, what I would give to have water like that over here.

Holy cr-- shawn! Hope your beauty is ok! I agree with Mac, in this hobby your pride goes quickly!! I know mine did! I've beached a gasser at 50mph and sunk another boat on her maiden voyage! The boat that was sunk was the worst to swallow. I got it back, but seeing 2 grand sink really sucks!!! Lol

LOL... Luckily the cat that was beached at 50mph only had small scratches to the hull and a torn up prop. Oh yea, it also smoked the 35cc motor.
