I saw those fancy exhausts/thingy's on the site Mac. They OK?I haven't found a use for them yet though.Maybe on the Komodo. I have little tiny stainless screws coming so I can bolt the scoop on the hatch.I think it will look good.Paint is STILL up in the air.If I go with white I have a bunch of sponsor decals and not to mention a set of "new"OSE decals that Steve sent me.Comment

I got a pair of those R2 vents sometime ago even if I didnt know what to use them for, so thought maybe I could use it in my Cigarette project. I would probably prefer the aluminum rectangular ones that HOR sells, but thought these might do the trick. I cant really do much paint wise on a boat doing 2 duties of being an offshore and yacht - except having a white base coat. Jerry does have a point when he said "less is more" and I've applied that concept in many projects for the past decades - and they work really well if done just right. Besides, I didnt have a specific paint theme in mind at the time - even if I was free to splash some color on the hull.
For weeks now, I've been searching the net for possible yacht structures I could make and I started to sketched some modern yacht designs. Unfortunately, it just didnt have the character that I was looking for and the modern curves doesnt speak to me. Maybe something retro or old school perhaps.........maybe even utilitarian in nature.
Ill be finishing up the offshore look since the Apache came with it anyway - then another slew of searching and sketches for a contemporary looking yacht structure will be in order.
Anyway, here's the dashboard design I made for the offshore .....................Comment

While Yes, I am a smoker - the choice of wanting the Cigarette Racing team logo/theme has nothing to do if I smoke or not. I really like how Cigarette Racing designs their offshore boats. Similar to Apache boats.
But if your analogy holds true, then Stephen must like insane boats eh?Comment
