Ditto with the Rumdog... This boat should do 40 out of the box... and with decent batteries and a prop change, much faster.

Tough to compare it to the Titan... One is a mono, one is a Cat... they are different creatures, so pick your poison!

However, the Geico will me more fun once AQ get's their RTR on the market, and we can have some offshore fun!!

One last question- All I have ever had are monos.(big boats as well) What should I expect differently from this cat? In bigger cats(big boat 500 plus HP) that I have rode in when you get up to around 80 they tap back and forth side to side. Monos like my baja hammer power through with some front bounce. Are RC cats more stable? It looks it in the video. The reason I asked about a bigger esc and motor is that I was watching the real Miss G the other day! Oh my gosh! amazing boat! Thanks for the input!

If they are using the same BJ set up then 5S on this would be fun!

Apparently they do it with the BJ26 all the time.... I've never tried it myself.

My uncle has a hustler 377 talon with twin blown 540ci merc motors and #6 drives. It has a gps'd top speed of 138mph. The nice thing about a cat is that with air compressing under the tunnel, it can float like an airplane wing, and skip across the waves at high speed, as opposed to pushing through them with a v-hull. A cat hull will obviously turn flat as opposed to a V-bottom which will lean into the turns. This can take a little getting used to, as one might be a little afraid that a cat might flip easier in the turns. But a cat hull of the same length as a "V" will handle more speed. I have several cats and vees the same. They are soo different. I love the straightaway speed of a cat, but also the superior turning ability of a V.
