And I have the cash sitting in my paypal account now. Oh-well, looks like I will complete my skunk 32 first and put the $350 towards batteries and such.

Bad move on Proboat's part...I was going to buy whichever boat was stocked by my LHS first - either the Traxxas Titan or Miss Geico. Looks like I am going to get the Traxxas now. I think I will just repaint my Blackjack 26 neon yellow and order the Miss Geico stickers instead.

I think it's actually a pretty smart move. The boat will sell good no matter what (IMO), but with the Traxxas Titan & Proboat Stilleto already being released at the end of July why add another boat to that, and why compete against one of your own. From a consumer point IT SUCKS (I really like this boat), from from a manufactor point prob a smart move. Less competition and more than likely people who know about the boat and who are waiting it have more time to save and buy. I know I plan to buy all 3. JMO

C'mon guys; do you really think Proboat is deliberately holding back release of the Geico ? Launching a new product depends on an enormous amount of factors, many not in immediate control of the OEM. Not so long ago Harley Davidson released media info on their radical new Roker bike [ I was a rider in the press videos] - created an enormous demand. Then final delivery was held back nearly six months because a supplier couldn't deliver on a body part. Hang tough, Bros - It'll arrive when it's completely ready to deliver it's promise.

Wise words... Getting this stuff delivered is not as easy as saying "make it so", and even the best laid plans can get sidetracked...

I'll be patiently waiting. I'd rather wait for the product to be right, than rush it to the water.

I will definitely buy the new Miss Geico after I buy the Titan. I have ALWAYS wanted to have someone market a Miss Geico based on the new Mystic C5000R hull. That boat is the most impressive and beautiful hull I have ever seen. I have been a loyal Proboat customer (I own both the Blackjack 26 and FASTech) and I have really enjoyed watching the evolution of their designs. The motor and ESC combo is hard to beat in terms of simplicity, fun factor and durability. It will be a very fun and rewarding boat to own and run with at my lake.

                                New to forum (Proboat)

Greetings all! I'm a newbie here and am delighted that I've found a forum that is filled with guys that clearly have a passion for scale boating. I don't have near the knowledge, experience or know how that you guys have so please don't be offended when I ask ignorant questions.
I'm the proud owner of Proboat's Miss LLumar (nitro w/ flex shaft) and the BJ26 brushless. I CAN'T WAIT TO ADD MISS GEICO TO MY FLEET! And yes, I too was hoping to have my hands on her late this month. As it has already been stated, the push back on delivery means ALL the bugs will be worked out by the time we get these boats on the water.
I must say the Titan looks pretty impressive in the videos.....hmmm how can I get both? Oh wifey.... Cheers to all!
