How does the paint hold up on these boats? If you do paint what to be aware of....

I painted mine over the winter and sprayed Testors enamel. It looked pretty good once it was all done (I sanded, primed, painted and clear coated) but it hasn't been very durable. I wouldn't recommend using that paint.
If/when I repaint, I think I will use something more of automotive quality.Grand River Marine Modellers, el Presidente

Dude you need to do a light sand over the first layer of paint...then get you coat of primer on next.
After about two coats of primer I usually take a scruff pad ect and soften the primer up.
Then do your base coat...
then re-sand again....
Then get a body shop to put 2 coats of clear if you dont have the Air and guns to spray clear..LMT
