did you get some 7/32 brass with the unit? seems like you have cut the stuffing tube a little short but no biggie. if you have some 7/32 you can use it to bridge the gap from the stuffing tube to the strut housing. just cut a piece an inch long, put a drop of crazy glue onto the outside of the 7/32 and insert it about 3/16 into the stuffing tube. now the other end should slide right into the strut housing. thats what i did with mine

sorry I'm just not see it, I had the peice of stuffing tube I cut off, I cleaned it out, I even sanded down the end of the brass tube but it will not go in.Comment

i THINK i GOT IT AFTER GRINDING THE END OF THE BRASS DOWN AND REMMING the stuffing tube it was a tight fit.Comment

2nd run today, still cold, a little windy but boat ran great, it did take a lot to get on to plane at times.
