Throttle epa? Is that the same as throttle travel adjustment? I was trying to do that but this is where the question about full brake came up. For some reason I can't cut & paste the instructions from the pdf but here is how I read it:
1. Hold the trigger at full brake and the steering at full right and power on the TX. Green light should flash - It does.
2. Hold trigger at full throttle. Turn trim knob to adjust throttle end point - (what I did) Squeeze trigger, turn knob (clockwise) to full.
3. Hold trigger at full brake. Turn trim knob to adjust full brake end point. - (what I did) Push trigger all the way forward, turn knob (ccw) all the way back
4. Return knob to middle position.Comment

mikiek - can you confirm your props are spinning inwards? Left spins CW and right spins CCW when looking at the boat from behind.Vac-U-Tug Jr (13mph)Comment

He confirmed it in post #72 when he ran it. Spinning inwards or outwards isn't going to make a big difference in the speed. A twin with one motor running forward and the other in reverse the boat will go in circles.Comment

oscarel - on my post #86 - the 4 steps listed there. The left part of the line is what the instructions say (the TX instructions not the Zelos instructions). The right side of the line is what I did. In my download of the TX instructions these 4 steps are on bottom left of page 3. The way I interpret them you are supposed to turn the knob. I just can't determine how much and in what direction.
There must be some issue with my throttle travel - when I squeeze the trigger the motors are maxed out by the time the trigger is 1/3 of the way back. They are turning pretty hard then but pulling the trigger any further has no effect.May your batteries never fail you...

Yes, they absolutely are. And the other day I did have to switch 2 wires on the port side to get that motor to spin clockwise. The boat was going in circles before that.May your batteries never fail you...

Just to lighten things up a little. We all know the way my luck has been going. If it can go wrong it will.
This morning I was getting the boat ready. I put in at a private boat ramp and there's bulkheads on each side. I put the boat on the stand on the bulkheads and load the batteries and make the connections. Everything looked good so I picked up the boat took a few steps into the water and set her down. So I'm bumping the throttle to get beyond the ramp and out on open water. She's acting real squirrelly - trying to turn into a circle, not responding to the rudder. I'm sitting there thinking what in the heck happened now? She's too far out now to wade and get her, a few bumps in reverse got her back within reach. So I picked her out and I'm looking for the stand to set her on. NO STAND. Right then I hear a splash right under the boat. STAND. So that sucker was stuck to the hull when I first put the boat in and I suppose was causing all kinds of drag.
More than a few choice words on that.May your batteries never fail you...

When do the ESC lights turn green, at 1/3 throttle when your motors "max out" or at 100% throttle?Vac-U-Tug Jr (13mph)Comment
