I think there was only one other guy that had the wire drives and was going to post results after he ran them. Maybe he hasn't had a chance to run them yet

I will get my site updated. The kits will come ready to roll. OSE has the 187 cables covered so I may just work with the wire drives. That way you will be able to order just one extra wire and have a spare and not worry about R&L. Some do not like the wire and this one is pretty short for using wires but from the feedback I have gotten they are smooth and easy to maintain.

There are actually a few that have run them. I will let them speak on their own.

Carbon Wire is the toughest stuff around. No...they take any water. Many Spartan owners were even breaking 187 cables and then sent them the 078 wire drive and they outlasted the cables...I can't even count the number of spartan 078 wire kits I have sold all over the world. I have one father that his son just beats the crap out of the boat so we put an 093 in it said it was the cure...not another issue. Cables are certainly good but the reason many break is they will rust from the inside out. You never get the moisture out of the inside of the cable winds. We started racing these 15 years ago in hydros and 12 cells (round) on 062 wire. The 062 is some tough stuff as well. Yes, they can be made to be virtually never touching a stuffing tube wall when under power.

How is strut adjustment with these? is a mill or two up or down a non issue?
                  Thanks

Thank's for the info Jeff , i got others questions , but i don't want to be offtopic . I just bought the OSE flex and i am disapointed about micro drive dog They put on ! Humm , i removed them and put bigger one ! The set screw was so small and stuck that i had to drill it both !

Wiring looks like a 8S2P setup. (two 4S packs in the center, what packs are in the sponsons?)
                              What size batteries??
                              What motors and props??

                              It runs very nice.
