      I want to hear how these work out as well. I have one on my Spartin and I did have water coming in the tube but I don't think that will be an issue with the zelos because the strut is sealed to the hull over the tube

        You have to cut them to length and also knotch out the stub shaft where the set screw for the dog drive sits

          from pics: I saw have to notch it for drive dog. There too long?
          even if you pull drive dog up , or maybe a bigger dog?

            Jeff sends them a couple inches longer so you definitely have to cut them

              I read on another forum that a certain someone is building their Zelos twin aiming to hit 130mph.. Want to chime in "certain someone"?....

                          ok I just got my 6 cell 22.2 volt batteries in, just to double check, I can do away with harness and plug 1 6cell into each esc directly?

                                What I would do is;
                                Connect the + wires of each ESC together just behind the plugs. so you still have two + plugs from your ESC's.
                                Then connect the two - wires of each ESC together the same way, BUT using a plug in-between.
                                The reason for the plug in-between is for when you are programming your ESC's you can disconnect them from each other.
                                With them connected together your programing may not work.

                                When you connect them this way, each ESC will see a 2S2P setup, therefore you batteries will always pull down the same.

                                If you have one battery connected to each ESC; so you are out running as if on a big oval coarse turning right most of the time,
                                After a few laps of the outside motor being loaded more then the inside motor, when you try to go straight your boat pushes to the left because the right hand battery has more power left in it then the left hand battery.
