Will do. I'm pretty limited to adjustments with the ESCs in the back of batt tray. Struts are sitting 3mm from bottomed out now. The new hull flies flat and true. If these ESCs prove to be too bulky I might pull em out and swap for 200s using these in another monster. On a side note, I think my garmin 101 is lying. I ran faster than ever on Saturday and it showed 56.9. Pulled 73.3 on chop a few days before. The Saturday run was quite a bit faster, again smooth as can be but somewhat wet. Thinking about the Dynamite gps, 10hz should be a ton better.

Got my Forerunner 201, Octura 447? Prop Balancer & SMC 5000mah packs. Any tutorials or vids on how to sharpen and balance props? This will be my first attempt and would rather not screw it up.

I tried out my new OSE CNC 43mm props and got 59.2 mph on 6s and stock settings. One of the props tips came clean off though not very good aluminum these are made from.

I wonder if you hit something in the water?
Also... are the sock stainless props better than the CNC props if sharpened and balanced?

I don care much for CNC props on bigger boats like this but it looks like you hit something like

Hey guys, I am a bit hesitant to sharpen and balance my octuras. I am really afraid of messing them up. Even after watching some videos, Im a little bit intimidated by all this. As soon as I balls up, I'll do a run.

There was nothing to hit in the water where we were running, water was clam, flat and clear. This is the 4th CNC prop that this has happened to in my club in the past month. The Aluminum has cavities in it meaning the metal is not a pure batch. If you sharpen and Balance the stock props really well I'm sure they would be stronger but not as light as the aluminum Cnc props.

All is good, will get some Octura 45mm on this baby and see how she does.

                    Cheers!

That's crazy how they broke like that. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm no pro and I'm sure someone will slam me for this but.... You gotta think, you're putting nearly 3/4hp down on something potato chip thin pushing 10lbs through the water at ballistic speeds..I can't speak for other props. I can however vouch for the Octura x442s, 447s and the ABC props. All have a totally different attitude though.

So I finally manage to get my replacement ESC for the twin, is it plug and play or does it need to be program and all that?

Did you get it directly from Horizon Hobby?

If so it is plug-and-play but it probably would be a good idea to calibrate the radio throttle to it
