I have a 60 size Cap 232 with a 500kv motor.. On 6s it will spin well over 11k free, but with a 16x8 prop my rpm is around 8k..
So by your math I'm only at 16v but in reality my batteries only drop about 1.5v..
Here is a graph I made of the stock setup/prop when I had the Brushless RPM sensor hooked up. I've since removed it from the boat because it was eating up RAM on the logger, and I didn't feel that the data was as relevant as the other sensor data.

Anyone have some suggestions on other props to test in this size range?
I don't want to goto a 6 series type prop after reading about over amp issues with the ESC.
I was considering a Prather S220 next after testing the Grim L40x57x3.

Detox likes the Grim L38X55, he also suggested the L38X63.

Yep. The only changes I made are the prop and strut depth/angle.

              jingalls007,
Do you race with the guys from Longmont and Greeley? I just moved to WI from Denver. I used to run my Shockwave 36 in Longmont at the county building lake.

WHAT?? No, I have only run my gassers at a Lake just off I-70 and Colorado Blvd. near Commerce City. I run my FE's at Wash Park since I live so close. It takes me 3 minutes to get to Wash Park, it's awesome. Do you have those dudes contact info, would be nice to run my FE's with some other dudes this summer here. thanks man,

                Jarrett
