My Eagle Tree data with m445

I did a run this evening with my new prop and consistantly ran between 46 - 51mph each lap in race setup.

My motor leads and batt/esc connectors are still getting too hot for my liking.

Here's the eagle tree chart with amps and gps speed... also the Eagle Tree statistics snap shot showing Peak Amps, Peak watts, mAhs used, low voltage, etc.
Temp A is the motor temp and Temp B is the motor bullet connector temp.

My wife took some video... I'll try to post it later.

Surprisingly enough the stock setup and stock prop is only 26 watts less.

Here is a chart and Stat print out for the "All Stock" setup.

That was a great vid!!!! the Kids were cracking me up...

Personally I don't have any kids, but the first time I ran my boats with my dog around he immediatly jumped in and tried swimming after the boats. That's the last time I took him wiht me....

Boat looks great. I hope to have mine out there on sunday.

Cool vid...I'm thinking that was a really long run. Seemed like around 2 miles to me. Have ya tried a 1 mile run?

I'm sure that the temps would be better with normal race distance.
Now I just need to build some buoys and setup a race course. I'm still trying to decide what to use for buoys.

This is really good info. Sounds like we need to upgrade to bullet connectors.

                    BTW...what are the battery specs?

                    .......

Yep. I have some 5.5mm bullet connectors on order.

The batteries are 2 x 4s 2250mAh packs in parallel. They are rated at 20C cont discharge. I'm using these because they are the packs I use in my 70mm EDF jets.

FYI... I re-posted the Data Chart as the original wasn't enlarging correctly. Now you should be able to see the detailed amps and speed.

I wonder if using 35c Lipos would make the UL1 faster?

                            That should do something!

                              Hit 52mph

Here is the last chart I'm doing with the m445 before switching to a Grim L40x57 for testing. Hit 52mph in the straights.

Check out Temp B. That is the ESC's Deans Connector!
