      I used a new prop, so it wasn't broke. I think it's the way I took the photo.

              Miss Geico 29 v3

              I just received two Octura X440/3 props and both of them seem to have the same problem, they will not fit the drive dog.
              it seems that one side of the slotted end of the prop is misaligned and if I removed about 1/16" from one side on the leading edge it would fit, but would be out of balance. what would you recommend.

                Do you happen to have a picture? Sometimes the slots have to be opened.

                  Use a 5/16" (8mm) od drive dog.

                      Removing material from the hub has less of an effect on practical balance than you may think. Removing 1/16" from the slot sounds like way too much however...

                        The drive dog slots are fine the tongue material is covering the the drive dog slot on one only
