no progress yet....i have to finish the SW36, SV27, and the drifter....and i cant forget the villain....but ive been thinking about it...twin brushless motors....may just not be for that hull...it may be more practicle for a single BL and still yeild similar speeds....11XL on 16 cells sounds good...the SW26 will still have the jet drive...ill probably start working on that before the villain...as well with the CC2...they will be relatively cheap compared to the other boats im building, so i could get them done fairly quick and then start on the villain...but right now i have to focus on the SW36 and getting that done...saleens7, the wookie of rc boatingComment

I only did a couple of laps of a 100' circle.....then lost signal or overheated......so she sat there, then you could see a little movement of water behind the boat as if prop would turn once or twice....then pop...smoke! I think I just drew too much current on these less than stellar packs....Comment

Ummm.......yeah, I've been running just a few laps at a time......the funny part is-all you guys have been correct and you're not even there when I run the boat. The first problem was not setting the ESC correctly, the second was cruising around at half throttle because I was afraid of her, the 3rd was using inferior packs that couldn't handle the amp draw......and I remember you guys telling me to watch temps/ run times with the 45mm prop......so far it's only been a $70 lesson. (for the packs) To reiterate, I'm glad for the help and knowledge everyone has shared with me. It's been a great experience. Now I have to break 40!Comment
