I have the rio. it is a tough little boat. I went brushless in it and it hauled!! handles tiny little chop well too. I bought a mini c hull and the transom cracked on the second run. Plus the hull was warped beyond belief!

I have the mini c and it's.......ok, in it's stock config. but I doubt it ca handle any chop at all. I'm thinking of getting the mini rio myself as it looks better than the mini v

haha, not sure, just seems he's looking for a mini. If onelastrun is considering a mono or a cat, why not a rigger? Just throwin' it out there I guess

It's cool guys, he was just giving his honest opinion. Here is mine - No offense to any Rigger runners, but I just do not see how that can even be called a "boat." Maybe it's just me, but it's not my style...

I will look forward to that 9000kv setup. I have a MM6900 1/18 system in my 18. Not sure if it'd be modding to put in there.

Was only going to run a cheapo hobby city lipo, $20 motor, and a cheap esc.

Sorry... so used to other forums where people just post their opinion. Guess I should ask: how does the setup sound? It's a budget one for sure...
