    Joern, Doby was being sarcastic about Chris Fine, many have had problems with his interpretation of "delivered promptly" or "in stock". It may be a better idea to buy direct from NEU...

      I did see Dobys sarcasme, last time I received parts from CF it wasn`t actually what I ordered to be honest... Yes I will try the manufacturers direct since I`m allready in the hobby business. In Europe I don`t know about any shop who really have experience in serious electric boats.

          I was dreaming about 65 +.
          With 35 cc and perfect conditions I see something around 57 - 58. I may be a dreamer who wants to see the 65 +, but with a motor doing 10 - 11 kW compared to a 35 cc doing shall we say 11 hp at its best it should be possible. Of course this gonna cost a lot of money, but that does a decent 35 cc as well.

                    Joern the 2230/1.5 would be an excellent choice over the 1Y , you could even go up to 14C with that and keep amp draw at a descent level

                        You are looking for a European shop with real knowledge/experience of fast/large electric boats ?

                            I just read on their website that 2200 motors had power range 2 - 10K W...
