Does anyone know what size flex- and prop-shaft the SV27 stingers require? 3/16", 4mm, 1/8" or what size props? Steven, are they available in silver as well as on the above shown pic?

if you scroll up and see the picture of the adaptor I posted I think it stops this problem you bring up...it is called an "unslow harness"....it was designed by a guy named unslow...do a search for it

he made it to run two vxl systems in a revo or emaxx

        quote:
To ensure even discharging on each system, it is a nice idea to use a little something called the ‘UNSLOW harness’. It essentially is a pair of leads with male plugs at one end, and female at the other, with a wire linking the negative wire on each lead, and the positive leads in the same way. This ensures that the batteries discharge at the same rate, preventing the LVC from kicking in on either system before the other- see below:

I might be totally offbase here and a bit late but thought I wouyld toos this in.
It refers to paralelle connectors. From my learnings dump those cute lil connectors and get up to speed with the 5.5mm. Here is a link @ r/r(hope not to offend) that shows an awsome connector.....Id post the pic but im at work and cant really do that so here is the link...http://www.rumrunnerracing.com/fefor...ad.php?t=26691

Cant get much less wire than this.... Hope it helps and I didnt offend anyone...Dave

I just finished makeing a set of the "par" connectors. I didnt use the rod in the middle i just held them in place with 2 heavier objects and got them tacked together. Then i flipped them over and added solder to the other side. I kept going trying to not get things too hot. I did get some 1 inch heat shrink but it was too small and just split once it started shrinking. No I dont have pics, Ive been soldering for about 3 hrs. Aside from boat stuff I also soldered up my crawler rig. Dual motors with a control switch to disenguage each motor as needed.

All in all it was fairly easy. I do recomend the .5.5 mm bullets to any boat running over 50 ish amps. The basic deans plug is rated for 60 amps max....
The only thing I use deans on is my crawlers and planes.
Good luck with the build. If you would like a build thread on a twin cat I have one at R/R link.....http://www.rumrunnerracing.com/fefor...ad.php?t=23909 There are a few pics of the build here but mostly after thought pics...

i cant look at the pics from rum runner as they wont allow hotmail accounts but looking at bonewars it is very neat and not much wire used. i work for a electrical company and have been looking at some of the bus bars used to see if i can make somthing neat yet take high amperage, on my twin i will probably use deans as i shouldnt see any higher than 45 amps per side

I work for an electrical contractor and we have some small copper bus bars lying around I might try and get a couple, but I was also entertaining the idea of trying my hand at the bullet connector Idea that Lonewolf posted to the red board.
