Peter, just a question but how do you plan to protect those from shorting out, touching anything? I like the concept and design tho, but dont like those plugs unless I would use it on a low amp setup.
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

I was looking at something very similar to Peters setup and then figured a way to do it with less plugs.
This assume that you use Deans, if you are on bullets then the concept applies.
The jumper leads could even have a bullet conector in the middle for separation needs.

Don't you guys think that Parallel wiring configurations is a subject for another thread? I know it is specificallly related to twin drives, I just feel that we're getting off-topic. Shouldn't we get back to the topic of twin drive set-ups?
I would like to know which 3/16 stingers would fit the 32" Agitator or its knockoff? The guy at Head-of-the-River only have a 4mm one that will fit his cat. Also which rudder with push/pull steering rods on both sides of it, would fit the hull. Black anodised should look cool...

I was just going to coat the exposed metal with some epoxy to protect from shorting and the reason I came up with this was to not use my high strand wire up because I think it looks a little messy (and I have a series connector which I use presently made with #10) and actually the connectors I am showing should take about 50 amps w/o any trouble more ore less.

Take a look at this one. Seems made to order for a small cat.

                    1/4 " propshaft, that's HUGE.
A large part of the prop will disappear behind the strutt...................

I saw that as well, but yet it states that it is for a .21 or electric....

1/4 inch is the size of the hole without bearings. You must provide your own bearings. I think it looks cool. Bearings would not be hard to find, either bronze bushing or small needles.

Adrian, I saw it as well, but Jhocheung replied that it won't fit in the spaces underneath the 32" cat. He recommended this one for a perfect fit, but it is 4mm not 3/16" http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/aluminum-adjus...4.c0.m14.l1262 . Now for the question of a scale looking rudder as well.

they may not be as flash looking and need a small mod but you can buy the sv27 ones here from o.s.e,they have a small bolt up area, only thing is the bracket that bolts to the transom is tapperd so you have to linish it flat. picture isnt my boat but has sv27 stingers. just a thought on batterie wiring iam sure i have read some were about because the speedie is sensor based you can get trouble with the back emf when both escs go to both batteries (will try and find the thread) one problem i do see is if one batterie quits the one good batterie will see the load of both motors and if your one batterie cant cope with that amp draw there goes your second batterie as well
