    HPR C5008 build. "Valkyrie"

    Hello all,

I thought I'd share my 'dream' build with you all,

it's being built with plenty of help from Manuel Wenny so we all know it's going to be a high quality boat..

    So far the specs

Hpr 2.0 hull, 4 layers with seam reinforcement
hardware is WD200, drives are longer than usual.
    Savox black edition servo
    Schulze 40.160 old
    Lehner 3060 / 6
    SLS QN 65C
    Abc 2515 cut to 62mm & Octura X465 prepped by Andy B

I will do my best to add pics and keep it updated as the build progresses.

The goal is to break 100mph comfortably without stressing the equipment.

Cool honeycomb material on the motor mounts. Is the filler material copper?

I believe the correct term is "Nomex Aramid Honeycomb"

it's only for the motor mounts, the motors will also have the classic Lehner end supports, probably not needed with these motor mounts but better safe than sorry.

3060's are heavy motors. I wouldn't run them without the rear mounts.

yup, using them.. was just stating the kevlar fill on them motor mounts is rock solid.

                      Hey Liam, gorgeous build!
Did you design and cut your own carbon?
If, would you have drawings for the hpr 115 you might share? Specifically looking for the motor mounts.
                      Thanks,
                      Jesse

                        Hi Jesse,

Manuel wenny is the one who sorted all the carbon

I believe he has his own mounts for pretty much every hpr and a few other hulls (got
                        My exocet mounts from him)

I can ask, I don’t think they are for sharing amongst the general public but I’m sure he can supply you a custom set…

Jesse, MBP sells a set for the C5009, not sure if it's the same pattern for the older 115 hull. They were very similar on the exterior, so possibly.

and she's complete. just hope the painter can get the colour right and the exterior matches the interior.
