Manuel puts incredible detail into his builds. Looks amazing.

Thanks for the Kudos, I am really happy how the project came out, even when yet still minus the setup.
As for the question, I should have a set of HPR115 motor mounts left with the same sandwhich material as used for this C5008 project.

And with Manuel's help yet again
Valkyrie went for her shake down run
started small worked up a little and got a GPS run of 98.6mph with X465 cut to 62mm.
Propped up for a final run just to break the 100 mark and... Gps didn't log anything Hopefully next week will get some additional runs in and then off to paint shop in June.

My ongoing efforts to get a fast run in before flying back to work until January aren't going quite to plan
As above, shakedown after paint was very wet..... she ran good but struggled to re tape the hatch so called it a day after 2 quick passes
Now with decals, tried to get a run in but being a Lake in Northern England in November, the wind picked up and... no chance..
Got a few quick pics
Did get a screen grab from a short video...

Well managed to squeeze a run in, wasn't ideal conditions rather windy but... managed the big 100mph she runs super nice.... now maybe 110? temps came back low considering it was a full run.
Also ran my skater first, she's a big heavy brute so used her to gauge the conditions
Unfortunately I was alone so video isn't the best...

Incredible piece of work!!! You should be very proud. That is definitely taking FE boating to the next level.Comment

Found a slightly better lake to use, unfortunately lost my go pro (2 month old hero 11) off the top of the Skater (it was in a go pro waterproof housing I watched it float by me while rescuing the overturned skater but never to be seen again... guess the suction mount was too much weight)
Changed to a shorter more "saw" profiled rudder and have 3 new sets of props to experiment with.
Also added a "HPR" decal because... why not?
Sorry for the wind noise

Great build, and a good thread with lots of pictures and explanations.
I love the paint finish outside and tidyness inside! As you know I’m just starting my own project, and I hope to get near your level of quality.
Looks like your build time was quite short? How long from start til finish (with paint and decals)?Comment
