My guess is it is meant to be offset otherwise you would notice a patch where it was altered and that it just needs straightening so it is 90deg to the bottom of the hull.

It took me a few weeks to learn to look at the rudder and not think it is not set perpendicular to the floor. Now my eyes are trained to look at it "correctly" and I no longer get dizzy.
Kind of like that "Un learning to ride a bike" thread.........Too many boats, not enough time...Comment

The story is every thing was set that way from factory. The motor is offset along with the drive to counter the boats natural tourq steer to starboard( right). The boat runs straight and ill post a pic of tab after i run todayComment

I still have the curiosity as why the motor is off set to the port side ( as in picture 2, post #1) , I thought for CCW props it should be set to starboard as mentioned above?
I guess I still have the "vertigo" after all this time, lol....Too many boats, not enough time...Comment
