                I would make the rudder separate. Moving up and down might not make a huge diff but its a variable you don't want to have to deal with. I also prefer the trailing edge of the rudder the be pretty close to lined up with the trailing edges of the prop. Now that we've seen what you can do you can't feed us BS about not wanting to make a rudder stand off.

                It looks really good cleaned up BtW

                                That looks great! I don't think you really need to mount the rudder seperate, the little bit it's gonna move with the strut isn't gonna make any difference.
