It would take years just to get the approvals from all the necessary authorities having jurisdiction to build something like that here. Even if you owned the lake and the water.

Maybe I can convince my wife it would be fun to go to a race in Ql.
When the government hands out the money as a grant, they make sure the I's are dotted & the T's are crossed.
We'll reserve a space for you Terry. 'Boating Brothers' are always welcome. And their dear wives too.

Ray, you may wish to go. BUT Canucks or Yanks will have to through a very steep learning curve of cultural values to be accepted down under. You may wish to visit the Skippies and Kiwis thread to get an insight to this .....This might change your mind or where do I sign up

I'm going to give it a read Doug.

It boggles the mind how difficult it is finding water to run in Canada let alone getting a grant for something so grand

I'm almost at a point of selling it all and taking up another hobby. Health reasons are to blame as well.

One P racing I can get into. Cells are as much a pain to acquire in Canada as down under.

Paul, congrats again!! Nice to see that your country takes the money from the bad and gives it to the good!!!! What a concept!!! Our country is just the opposite.

                  Thanks guys.
That shelter has been brilliant for keeping both the rain & the sun off our heads.

It is a good scheme of the governments', to put some of the gambling tax revenue back into the community through sporting clubs & non profit organisations.
All they have to do is apply. It is a bit of a process, but well worth it in the long run.

Isn't it funny when you set up an ez-up or erect a nice cover like you did and the shadows they cast always seems to be at the wrong end of where you want to sit.:)
