No more pictures as I do not have the boat anymore

My boat had the metal strut that bolted on not just the tube braced like yours
I started out using the nitro flex shaft that had the 1/8 prop shaft on the end
The bearing was getting worn so I drilled it out so I could use the 5/16 and the .150 cable

Be carefull about cutting out the radio box until you have decided how you are going to seal up the cowl to keep the water out
I ended up cutting a piece of pink styrafoam (sp) to put in the cowl so it would sit right above the front edge of the radio box
This sealed up the front part of the boat and I only had to put tape 1/2 way down the cowl and over the front edge

I was planning on using a thin plastic glass cut and epoxied in? I also was gonna run a new flex tubing and cable I think I am going with a .150 shaft. I have a friend who is really good with a dremel and I was going to have him do the cutting. Do you think I should use fiberglass resin to filling the part on the bottom of the hull where the old tubing is ran? I can post a pic if I didnt make that clear.

It has a PB 1500kv motor and cheap sky wing esc,
Not sure if that esc will handle the boats size and setup on 4s than maybe 5s.
I believe it has the stock rudder and bracket,
And a flat speedmaster 21 strut and .187 flex shaft.

I will be using a x642 prop first for testing to get it up on plane,
Than see what needs to done for good ride and handling from there.
Like I said it has never been tested by me yet,
So I have no idea how it is going to handle and run.

                Lenny:
I talked to the guy from offshore. He told me to use the leopard and swordfish gear. I wanna hit 70+ but that might be wishful thinking.

Here are some pics of my Pro Boat Miss Bud converted from Nitro to Brushless. I removed all the old Nitro hardware and did a CF inlay for the first time. Strut and rudder from kintec and the motor is a Neu 1415 4100kv on 3s 2250mah TP 65c lipos in parallel. Esc is a Swordfish 200a and prop is a Octura X440. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Hey Lenny. No videos yet but it moves quite fast. Think I may need to put some more weight upfront.
