New here does anyone know and good ways to convert the miss bud to brushless?

I just got a Miss Bud hull for free its the 1/12th model from Proboat. I would like to make it brushless if possible. Any of you all have any ideas? I have the Speed Control and Motor I want. Any info will help! Thanks!

    Hi.
    I have one,
But I have not ran it yet for testing of speeds and handling.
Post some pictures of your boat and hardware and the info of the stuff you have on hand.
Hears some info on a build that is close to the same hull as that one.

Also try doing a search on hear and in the build threads for more info to.

Do a search in the build section. There are a few members that have converted that hull including me with an elam. Here are some pics of mine. I used 1800kv 60amp combo from the mystic. I used miss geico 29 hardware with a kintec offset rudder, and a ul1 turn fin. X440/3 prop running on 5s I get between 48-52mph.

Nice looking elam and great motor and esc choice. 50 mph is a great speed for that hull and the price and dependability is even better! I want one!

My Brother in law and I actually just did a conversion on a Miss Budweiser from Nitro to brushless a few months ago. Will post some pics later.

I was planning on running a leopard 3674 with a swordfish 220amp and my local hobby store is setting me up with 4s mini pack so that I could fit it in the nose on the hull.
I saw one place where a guy had cut out the radio box and had replaced the stock flex shaft with a .150 I think so. I can post some pictures up tomorrow for you all!

I would hold off buying any thing from your LHS,
Till you look at all the info on hear and the other build threads.
That is if you want to save some money and time in the long run.

I did a Lumar boat (same shell just yellow instead of red)

                  Took the nitro stuff out
                  Made a motor mount
When I built this it was a 2S2P set up
A 4S1P set up would work also

The hardest part is to find a lipo that you can get in past the motor up into the nose of the boat

I left tube in, and just extended it. I cut it shorter inside the hull so I could mount the motor further back. 4000-5000mah fit just fine in my nose.

I will take some pictures of mine later on and post them,
My flex shaft is 187 and 3/16 prop shaft.
And the motor is closer to the transom than that yellow one,
                        More like the elam above.
He is one that looks close to the same setup as mine,
But it look like he had the cell setting way back on the starboard side.
Do not know how that worked out for him.

Theres my boat. Lenny I would like to build mine like the one in the link you sent me. So i would have to gut out the radio box and everything. I am looking in to using the miss gieco or the UL-1 drive hard wear.

It appears to be in very nice condition. Good choice on the ul-1or similar hardware. I am going to own one of these so I look forward to seeing it be built. what kv 3674 Leo are you using?
