The last vid is the first video I took of it. Haven't gpsed it other than in the buoy hitting video.

Yeah I mean If you haven't given the boat a couple of gps runs then you need to. Run the boat the longest straight runs you can. It looks like you're in the 50mPh range. Again, the prop may be keeping you from getting the rpm up. Bigger doesn't always mean better... At least that's what I tell my gfComment

The next time you make a video hold the phone in landscape orientation, not portrait. The boat is running too wet for those glassy conditions, it can be loosened up for higher speed and lower amp draw.
- Exactly what motor and packs are you running, 1P or 2P?
- What timing on the motor?
- A photo or two of the interior would be helpful.
- Any idea of the temps other than "slightly warm" or "hot"?

I'm running 2 4s 5000s in series.
Timing is currently set at 0
I will get a temp gun for my next outing.
I will admit I'm just getting into this, but am eager to learn. Wife and 2 kids and a few other hobbies cut into the ability to get out and test a lot.
Just looking for some insight and advice to make this more enjoyable.
I also have an H&M viper that I'm really pleased with!Comment

I will say your transom pickup is wicked low and causing a lot of drag. That thing only needs the tip just touching the water to work nicelyComment

heaving is right on the pickup, I would maybe angle the turn fins back a tad as you only want them in the water when you are turning otherwise they drag as well. And shorten the esc/motor connections too as much as possible. Another issue is to make sure your drivetrain spins freely w/o the motor connected...any binding or such will rob you of speed fast. And just an opinion you may be running really wet as the battery holders look very far forward which wont help. measure the cog by taking the total length of hull and dividing it by 3 then mark it from transom and use a thin piece of wood or foam with a shallow vee cut in it and place the hull on wood etc at the 30 mark loaded with batts etc. if the boat wants to teeter forward you need to adjust batts rearward and so on. And is that prop sharp and balanced?Comment
