    Setup question

I'm currently running a 32" mono with an 1100kv t600 outrunner on 8s and an x450 prop. Using the 130a HV seaking esc. I'm only getting approx. 40mph out of it. It seems to be lacking in the topend department. Where do I go from here? Esc, batteries seem only slightly warm. Motor is hot but I've been told outrunners do run hotter than inrunners.

    Hi,
Post some pictures of the setup in the hull with the cells in place like rtr,
Also some pictures of the boat and the transom and hardware.
Do you have any video's of it running at speed ?

Yes, 40 mph is pretty slow for that setup. A quality parts setup should give closer to 60 mph. The prop may be too much as stated above. Some stills of the transome along with the CG location will help us make suggestions.

Very hard to tell from that video,
But it sounds like it is running very wet with the bow down.
Need to see some pictures of it and get a longer video of it running in saw runs with out hitting the buoy.
Like 2 minute runs for testing.
Also temp prob the motor after a 2 minute run,
So we know what hot is.

It's sounds like your rpms are up there, but the boat does seem slow. It's everything tight on the driveline?

The last vid it looks decent fast. But if that's how you drive when you gps you won't get an accurate reading
