Nothing wrong with running NiMH's in the kids boats. Its cheaper and less worries.

I would pass on the Venoms under any circumstances. My 8 yr old runs with lipos - just have to monitor them and in worst case wrap some tape around the trigger.
        imho.
Boats don't win races, drivers do.

If you are going to do this you might as well forget the Nimh batteries and get enough Lipos to do the job. That way you can work on the boat setup and it will be consistent from run to run.
Thanks , but if i buy the HP-EOS0610i , i know he have not the 120 volts adaptor , but we can plug the HP-EOS0610i on the batterie of my car ? thanks in advance

If you decide to go with NiMh cells, here are some IB3600 packs with Deans connectors.

Yes, you can use a 12 volt boat or car battery to power a DC charger.

nimh cells: the higher capacity cells(3800-4500+mah) have a shorter life span than the 3600's(usually), conversly the high capacity lipos your better off getting them since they handle the amp draw w/ less stress(meaning last longer).
Still waiting for my boat to come in.it came in
