Thanks. Yeah, cleaned up very well but does still smell. Left it in the sun for a bit yesterday and it seemed better, but still smells. It is in the back room and you can definitely smell it walking to that half of the house lol.

Oh god, something for me and being at the river, when filling up the boat. Don't know what it is but it smells pretty dang good!! Lol, about the post though, I ALWAYS blow my cooling tubes out after almost every run, just to make sure water, etc gets out of there without having the danger of what happened to u!

Us i always run water through my lines also. Just a good safety measure to make sure I don't blow any more up also.

I've used fast orange hand cleaner to get the stink. It's citric acid though so probably not the best thing for the resin. Kills the smell though.

yeah I still cannot get the smell out of my mg 17. after two speed controls and one motor burning up nothing smells like ass.lol.that's alright I went ahead and put a 60 amp the control in it should have no problems now. Have not had a chance to Run it yet

In Etti's defense this one went poof the day after it fell off the workbench onto the concrete floor in my shop. I checked it over and it looked okay but must have cracked or damaged something . Ran for a minute or so then ALOT of smoke came out.

Never GPS'd on 8S, IIRC, it was mid *maybe* upper 40's on 6S. Been at least 4+ years since I GPS'd it, so I don't remember exactly what it ran.

When I smoked the Etti 150 on 6S, it was a tanish-brown smoke that smelled pretty bad but did not dirty the hull at all. When the 120HV let loose on 8S- it was thick black smoke that smelled horrible and made a huge mess of the hull!
