Doug, you cheeseheads were missed. These Elks guys are as nutty as we are. You guys gotta get here for the next one.

John, that video you took from the dock is sweet. Makes the lake look almost majestic.

Jack, I'm glad you guys made the trip. You and Brian seemed only mildly addicted before. I'm guessing next year you two will have a fleet for us. haha

Glad it was a good time.

If it goes off again next year you can count on three more drivers from the NorthEast. I'll bring along with me the reigning N1 mono champ so we can coax Darin into coming to try to beat him

You need to build him an OPC Tunnel... I'd have a better shot then!

Steven, it's time for an upgrade. I have two spare spec monos. Your boy is welcome to either of them. In fact I'll build him one if he wants.

N1 isn't likely to make the cut in these parts. Nobody but me owns one around here.

We had enough kids to actually run a kids only class. I think next year Ava and Ty will probably have to be banned from it though. They might be a little too experienced. We'll just have to find more kids. I have boats. Maybe the neighborhood kids would like to give it a try.

                  Terry,
I found my old micro bullet if you are interested. Sounds like you guys have a great club again...not that it was really ever bad (I'm keeping my mouth shut about the early days!). Too bad my ambition was low this year...thought about driving up to see you guys a few times this weekend...but I have a bucket of excuses!

Congrats Pag's.....you have definitely accomplished yourself as a very respected racer! And to all the rest...I know how much effort you guys put into a race...that includes EVERYONE!

And I really missed seeing Fred....especially when he has his out of body experiences!!!

                  Cheers to you all!!!

Dont do that, it would be the last time he raced.

thanks for the offer, but they love that class. Must be the little boats.

Steven, tell them that I might like N1 mono too but it's hard to drive while I'm snoring. haha

Alan, you're coming next year if I have to drive down there and pick you up. You need this and you know it. Bring junk boats. We don't care. Come check out from the daily/weekly/perpetual grind with us. You get to be a kid and act a fool with no worries for a while.........well, probably only a few minutes knowing you but it's something.

I still have the plugs for the UFO hulls. I also have a prehistoric Force 21 that's in great shape. Costanza still races my old Micro Bullet. If that guy would come in we could maybe find enough guys to run N1. PAGS has some too. Tell ya what Steven, I'll put it on the list just for your boys but begrudgingly. Let's force them to run spec mono too. Maybe they'll get it out of their system.

                          Great Event

                          Hey Terry,
Pags is still raving about the great pond site and the terrific event that your club just had.
It's sounds better and better with every post here.
I think Jason and I are already very close to committing for next summer.
Are you still contemplating dancing for strangers ?.........lol

Congratulations to you and your club on hosting another great event.
                          Talk to you soon,

Ken, we had twice as many spectators as we did racers. Probably more actually........ so I suppose yes on the dancing for strangers action. haha If you guys come up, pick up Smock on your way by. He and I and Peterson need a group hug.

Wonder what it would take to dig the Wollards and Ole' Reed out from under their respective rocks. Just say'n.

I did get your message BTW. Just been busy. I should be working right now and not typing. DOH! I owe Howard a ring too. I'll get to ya guys.

Just remembered another first for me at this event. It got dark on me while I was wrenching. Didn't remember a drop light. So I grabbed what I needed and took it into the lodge. Thrashed on my boats IN the bar. How's that for convenience? haha

Alan... I tried running the new power systems in the Micro Bullet... It can't handle the power! Flips and Flops all over the place! Of course, mine was modified to go fast with the OLD power... maybe it just needs to be modified back!

Terry has the plans for the winning N1 boat... He just needs to start building... Or... I could just send him one of mine... I'm don't have any immediate plans to use them again. :)

One could glue some sandpaper to the bottom of the hull to handle the increased power!!! Would think it would be a rocket for saws.

Terry, may just take you up on that......but maybe I should drive....seen how you Michiginians are!
