Nice... so a 1:40 or so... That's just about what Brian runs with his TS-3 setup... Last time out down in Eugene at the D8 race, I ran a 1:36, followed up with a 1:33 in heat racing, but we found out that the course had the corners setup at 65' Diam., rather than the official 70' diameter, so it wasn't an "official" record, obviously (though having the turns a tad wider wouldn't have made much of a difference, and may have actually helped as we wouldn't have had to turn in as far).... Motor temps were just breaking 105 or so. That was with my standard heat-racing prop. Same setup I ran a 30.xxx 2-Lap with on the Sunday after the Nats. I didn't try the "fast" prop, as it makes the boat a handful exiting the turns and I haven't tuned around that yet, but that is the prop that did a 28.9 2-Lap, having the peddle the first 1/3rd of the straight...
I wish we were closer as this sounds like it would have been a FUN event. You guys have, after all, ALWAYS had a reputation for putting on a GREAT race out there! Nicely done!
