When I visited the site this afternoon, none of the items I looked at had pricing displayed - which they did less than a month ago. It "appears" he has shut down new orders......

I agre with you rumdog, tough business to be in. I'll definitely give him some slack, I appreciate what he is doing for us. I have an order for motors from him that he told me got mixed up with warehouse guy, kinda feel bad for having to send an email about not getting them, then I see these posts,,, but I can wait till he gets things up and running again. I don't think many people that deal with him other than regulars, ever read his about me page, and really take the time to realize what kind of effort it takes to keep a self run business running. I've been self employed my whole life and have had friends say you can do whatever you wand or you can take the day off your the boss. But reality is you work twice as hard and when everyone else is done for the day you are never done for the day. And if you are then chances are you woulnt be self employed much longer. I for one enjoy this sport and am always appreciative of people like Steve here at ose and Ben at fc. They arnt selling cheep kiddie pool toys in bulk to make tones of money, they are having to put up with a lot of p.i.t.a. customers for what they are getting back. So hopefully Ben will get things working soon and for those that read this and have an order pending, I'm sure the last thing he wanted to do was hold our orders and have to deal with all the ramifications that are created by doing so! I'm giving some slack (as long as I get my motors soon!!). Na just kidding Ben hope things work out and for gods sake don't throw in the towel! I want to see a twin 16s 400amp data logger esc!

I hope everything works out at FC Ben has some really cool products and offers a very complete line of parts making it very easy for beginners and advanced boaters. I recently bought a genesis hull for 90 bucks, this hull is great. The business has tremendous potential i think and i hope to continue ordering stuff from FC.

Oh man, I have friends that own their own businesses. Holy crap. They never get a break. They're never off. Even when they're off they're on. On the phone, on an email, on the run...... here there everywhere. The building alarm goes off at 3:00 in the morning. Who's handling that while you're "off" doing what ever you want? It never stops. Creepy thing is........most of those guys wouldn't have it any other way.
