alright... stupid question, but if I'm looking at the backof the boat, which way should each prop rotate? and which prop goes in each side? I think they are backwards, but im not sure...

Looking from the back I run the left prop(port side) spinning counter-clockwise and opposite on the other side.

and this thing is noisy, and REAL noisy when i turn, overcourse this is running it on the stand....?

Set your steering rate where it wont turn so far, the u drives dont like being turned more than about 30 degrees...............its also not good for it. It'll quiet down some when in the water too.

yeah, I didnt figure it needed to turn real sharp anyways....I'll turn them way down then adjust when I get on the water

I appreciate it Jerry... i know these things are kind of out dated, but I think they are cool! and I know the velineon setup isnt a prefered boat ESC, but this way I can see how much interest I actually have and upgrade down the road....

Sounds good but im just wondering ''because its cheaper'' why didnt you just make it a single drive,, i probly would have just mounted one of the outdrives and used one motor and esc, dont no if that could have been done or not but seems more simple, i no most sigle systems can run just as fast as a dual!!!

well, I'm totally new to boats.... I've only built crawlers, and SC trucks.... so I really don't know much about them and I was looking at simplicity.... basically a learning experience to see if I can make her float and maybe even scoot...
