That must be the reason for the twin (and long) rudders. This is quite interesting, thanks Bill.

          Talking sponson mounted motors.
Ive seen a canard with motors in the outriggers, and 3S2P in the body.
He had escs squeezed inside the wings.
          It went HARD.

That's awesome Bill!!! At first I thought you'd gone over to the wild side with those huge rudders, but at speed they seem to be running at a good depth. I can hardly wait to see it run at full speed. Keep up the good work my friend.

very interesting, it looks like a big shot in the dark but in the vid it looks promising if you can get it to turn like a regular hydro. great work there im watching. to bad theres such negative remarks ,but then again you never know what your getting from china (as far as gimmicks or do they actually work).

                  Bill.
Now that I've seen the underside of the hull, in the pictures you posted, I think that those skirts running down the length of the hull from the sponsons to the transom are keeping the air packed in under the hull creating more lift at the rear than an ordinary hydro where the air can spill out along the sides. That would go a long way to helping to get the tail up.
                  I love it.
                  Cheers.
                  Paul.

is it bobbing a bit? on the one corner it looked like it started to sub? or did the driver let to far off the throttle?

                          I just bought one!

I got a hull on the way too! What props did you use?

                          I am going to run the 3660 2100kv L motor from HobbyKing W/ water jacket, and a 6000mah 30 - 95C 4S nano-tech.

                          Any tips?

                                I will make it work!

I will make it work! Dremel in hand and redoing to water cooled motor mounts to fit different motors etc. Going to go true counter rotating motors not just props.

Going to change the cockpit style too! I am going to use a small bilge pump to force the water through the system. Then completely water tight seal the hull.
